My next pillar for 2018 revolves around Relationships, Friends, and Family. After all, where would we be without our peeps?!
New Year's resolutions tend to center around common themes such as Health, Career, losing weight, etc. While these pillars are absolutely important,Relationships, Friends, and Family is the most precious in my opinion.
We have a very limited amount of time on earth and we need to make our relationships the #1 priority.
In 2017, I lost multiple family members. I also gained a spectacular niece. Relationships are an on-going cycle of deep love and deep loss. The year before I ended a 3 year relationship with my boyfriend at the time which completely devastated me. Then I met Mark, my current boyfriend, who is absolutely wonderful.
You can have all of the success and money in the world.. you can have the hottest body and the most creative career... you can be making an impact in a million different ways, but if you don't have YOUR PEOPLE to love and laugh with and cry with.. Then the other things feel very hollow. A lonely life is no bueno.
We all know these Truths in the back of our minds, but it's so easy to get distracted by our day-to-day.
What matters most are the close relationships in your life that fulfill your utmost happiness.
Check out the vision board I made for my personal life and relationship goals.
Staying in touch with people doesn't come naturally to everyone no matter how important they are to you. I'm not a phone person so I totally understand the struggle.
But as part of your 2018 goals, maybe you want to try to be a better friend, a better son or daughter, sister or brother, the list goes on...
That's why I created the Staying In Touch planner to help you stay on track and make sure you're keeping up with all of your BFF's and VIP people.
